Presentation

The research school's program is designed to enable students to benefit from the latest advances in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and other model reduction techniques. In recent years, the Artificial Intelligence and Statistics community and the Scientific Computing community have come together to develop   new   algorithms   useful   to   both   fields.   Indeed,   the   former   community's   interest   in   high-dimensional problems has led it to adopt a number of methods usually used by the latter. Likewise, the scientific computing community has begun to take a close interest in Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques for solving physics-based problems, in order to develop economic models  in computation time. It is to these highly topical issues that the speakers at this school will turn their  attention.

This research school is jointly organized by Pristini School of AI, the « Laboratoire de Modélisation Mathématique et Numérique en Sciences de l'Ingénieur » (LAMSIN-ENIT) and INP Bordeaux. This school   is   under the   aegis   of   the   ASDS   (African   Society   of   Digital Sciences)   and   the   fruit   of collaborations with  several  other Tunisian  public institutions.  This  research school  will be  set up alongside the Data Science Conference, which is intended to become a regular event, organized every  two years under the patronage of the African Society of Data Science (ASDS). The first edition is  scheduled for February 22-24, 2025.
